Part 28 - Love and faithfulness 

One of my favourite Bible verses which has helped me many, many times in my Christian life, especially when life has been hard and difficult is: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning, great is Thy faithfulness”. Lamentations 3:22-23.

In these uncertain times we can be absolutely certain that God is faithful in his love and care for each one of us. One of the things on my heart at this time is that our church family and friends know this for themselves and will come out of this pandemic even stronger in faith and love for God. I’ve been praying for parents, children, young people, grandparents, aunties and uncles and friends that each one would know and love these promises of God at this dark time. I’ve also been praying for our persecuted brothers and sisters who are in even more danger from militant groups during the lockdown in their countries with no protection at all.

I remember when I had just started out as a Christian that I was told by my minister that we had a ‘direct line’ to God. So, let us use that line daily, keeping in mind that our amazing and wonderful God hears and answers us.
